A large wheel thrown shallow bowl decorated with a male and female Cardinal bird on a winding vine. Approximately 11” in diameter, 2” tall. Red, Black and Lilac slips were applied then carved away to reveal the image. Clear glaze on the interior, Cherry Red glaze on the exterior. One of a kind piece.
